Welcome to Lomond Parish Church, the Church of Scotland on the southern shores of Loch Lomond at the gateway to Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
We are a friendly, outgoing Church of Scotland congregation. Lomond Parish Church a union of 3 congregations (Alexandria, Jamestown and Kilmaronock-Gartocharn) in south Loch Lomondside and the north of the Vale of Leven. We have a rich heritage and we cherish that. We are grateful for the family of faith from which we have emerged over the years and are deeply aware of our responsibility to continue the work begun and nurtured by our forebears in the faith and to grow in the digital world to engage with a wider Congregation.

Our aim is for this website to be useful to both visitors and members. On 27th February 2024 we united with our linked congregation at Kilmaronock Gartocharn Parish, so now cover the old parishes of Kilmaronock, Jamestown, Alexandria North, Alexandria St Andrews and Bridge Street. We know that people have used the site to find out about what is happening, to search out some of our historical links to former Vale of Leven churches, to contact us to arrange weddings, use our hall accommodation and our grounds.

Outreach in the community is provided by Chaplaincy support to Care Homes; Sheltered Housing and Supported Living Accommodation. We support Lomond Community Pantry, and Dumbarton Women’s Aid. We have many keen photographers in the congregation and we have used their pictures to show the many talents that are used to demonstrate our witness to our Lord’s work in this beautiful area of Scotland. As a Gold Award  ‘Eco-Congregation’ we are committed to good stewardship of God’s creation.
