The formal union of Lomond Parish and Kilmaronock Gartocharn Parish took place on Tuesday 27th February led by the moderator of Clyde Presbytery, Rev David Burt. The new Parish will be know as Lomond Parish Church of Scotland and covers the old parish boundaries of Kilmaronock, Jamestown, Alexandria North and Alexandria, the northern area of West Dunbartonshire adjacent to Loch Lomond. The cist on the vacancy is now removed and we can progress to call a minister after being vacant for nearly 5 years.
